School Management and Reporting Tool (SMART)

SMART is a very powerful school management software, designed to suit Ghanaian schools. It can be used to manage the records of students and staff. It also has other administrative functionalities that will be very helpful to your school.

Below is a list of some of the features and functionalities in SMART.

1. Variance Sheet: For easy comparison of students’ academic records from two different academic terms.
2. Transcript: The user can generate a transcript of students’ terminal reports at any point in time.
3. Multiple Grading Systems: The user has an expanded scope to set up different grading systems for different assessments. For instance, a grading system can be set up to be used to grade Mid-Term Exams and another grading system for grading End of Term Exams.
4. Broadsheet: The broadsheet functionality has the options to include or exclude Average Score, Grade, Position and grouping of students into percentage passes.
5. WAEC Results Analysis: Users can input students WAEC results and SMART will easily determine the aggregate, raw score, core total, etc.
6. Fees Management: The Fees Management feature allows you to bill students and receive or refund payments. Instant receipts can be printed either in POS receipt format or DL Envelope size.
7. Cash Books: Processing and reconciliation of cash books is included in SMART to help the accounts department to easily reconcile cash books.
8. Budgeting: With SMART, the accounts department can create flexible or fixed budgets within specific periods and track them over the period.
9. Auditors’ Report: Account auditors’ can type, sign and save their report in SMART.
10. Accounting Reports: SMART has almost all the accounting reports that you might need. Trial Balance, Income Statement Standard, Income Statement Detail, Income Statement Comparison, Balance Sheet Standard, Balance Sheet Comparison and Statement of Cash Flows.
11. Payroll: The Payroll feature is designed to meet the current payroll standards of Ghana. Statutory reports (i.e. SSNIT and Tax Reports) can be generated after processing payroll. Other reports such as Payroll Register, Payment Advice, Payslips and Cost To Company can also be generated.

Texto

Texto is a new desktop SMS application that sends bulk SMS to your contacts that are saved in the system.

Groups can be created in order to send messages to specific people.
